Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the start of a course will receive a refund less an administrative fee of 25% of the course cost. No refund will be given if canceled within 30 days of the course. If Mystic Seaport Museum should cancel the class for any reason, including if the minimum number of participants is not met, we will notify you as soon as possible and fully refund your registration fees.

5:30–8:00 p.m. (Ages 16 and up, capacity: 4)
In Sailmaking: Basics of Dacron, learn how to sew the modern sailmaking material, Dacron, on a Sailrite sewing machine in in the historic Charles Mallory Sail Loft. You will learn basic sailmaking techniques to make your own lunch bag out of Dacron material to take home or give as a gift. No previous sewing experience is required, but people of all experience are welcome! All tools and materials will be provided.
